Harajuku, JR Harajuku Station-centered area is famous as an area for young people. Harajuku has been brought new trends such as outrageous clothes. Takeshita Street, located on the eastside of Harajuku Sta. is full of boutiques, accessory shops and crape shops etc., crowed with young people especially on weekend. On a main street, there are a lot of fast fashion brand shops such as GAP, ZARA, H&M and FOREVER21, fashionable shops and cafes makes people flow constantly. There is an area called “Ura-harajuku”, where a number of old clothes shops, surf-and-skate fashion shops and hair salons etc. are gathered, is located in between Meijidori Avenue and Omotesando Avenue.
On a Westside of Harajuku Sta., where Yoyogi Park and Meiji Jingu are located, has relaxed atmosphere compared to the eastside.
